The Ripon High School JROTC (Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps) program is based on leadership training, followership, and team work acheived through challenging and comparative curriculum.  JROTC consists of freshmen to seniors and is a system based on rising ranks as one learns more and excells in leadership experience.  Our battalion holds the Honor Unit with Distinction title so we hold high standards for our cadets.  Not only do we focus on doing our best in the program, we also motivate our cadets to do their best in all that they participate in such as grades, sports, community and home responsibilites.

Our instructors concentrate on guiding cadets through their High School years and help them establish goals to ensure each cadet has a plan after they graduate.

We currently have six periods. Our zero period consists of the Drill Team includes Sabre team, Rifle team, Colorguard and Step team.  Period two is Apache, period three is Blackhawk, period four is Comanche, period five is Dogman, period six is Operation Staff, and seventh period is Eagle, and Logistic Staff.
